An Inconvenient Truth

This movie “An Inconvenient Truth” presented by “Al Gore”, 2006 discusses the scientific facts behind the global warming. It also explains how it has already begun to affect our environment.

Global warming occurs when the collected carbon dioxide and other air pollution traps the sun heat causing the planet to warm up. Al Gore tried his best to caution the world by explaining the issue to the presidents of some countries for them to control the spread of the CO2.

Al Gore also announced about the danger which the world is facing from the global warming. First, Melting glaciers can cause water shortages. Second, rising sea levels and the warmth of the sea surface started to cause storms, tornadoes, typhoons and hurricanes. Third, cold seasons are shortened which caused droughts. It can also cause Habitat disruption, species extinction and mosquito-diseases.

Moreover He insists on the importance of the human awareness. People have a big role in expanding this problem. They do so by not believing scientists, putting pressuring on the earth by having lots of children, smoking, and using technology that pollutes the earth.

In conclusion, global warming is a serious problem that should not be ignored for any reason. We have to cultivate for our future generation to live happy.

The increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s air and the oceans is called global warming. Global warming occurs when the collected carbon dioxide and other air pollution traps the sun heat, causing the planet to warm up. It has really started to worry the people, especially scientists. Global warming is considered a serious issue for it is causing real disasters in our world. It is increasing the wildfire, dust storms, and heat waves. Winter seasons are getting shorter in most areas in the world. It is also melting the glaciers which can cause water shortage. Floods may increase because the global warming is causing the sea level to rise. Plants and animals may become extinct because of the habitat disruption.
In my opinion, global warming is a serious issue in the world. I hope that people avoid this danger by not polluting their nice world.
